Dingle won the U12 North Kerry League Div 4 on Sunday after winning their final game of League on a score line of 5-10 to 5-5 versus a very strong Moyvane side. This was Dingle’s toughest match of the campaign and both sides were very evenly matched, however it was probably Dingle’s better overall balance and team performance that won the game for them. Dingle’s victory was laid in their back line when the backs stood strongly under enormous pressure in the second half and made some brilliant blocks and tackles to ensure Dingle took the spoils. Mid Field was a ding dong affair with Dingle’s Midfielders coming up against a very strong Moyvane pairing. Upfront Dingle had a great first half and when under pressure in the second half managed to secure the goal that was to win the game. It was a fantastic effort by all the girls throughout the league and all have come on hugely over the course of the year. If you think back to last year where we lost all matches in this division it’s a great turnaround and well deserved
